Cars supply-removal, locative traction services

One of the main activity of ASTRA is cars supply from railway stations to the point of freight loading/unloading and further return/removal of this car after freight loading/unloading at the station with own locomotives. More than 200 companies railway owners located within the borders of the territorial district of Astana are the consumers of our services.

The consignee/consignor determines independently front of freight loading/unloading and can choose any convenient railway track (dead end) in the industrial zone of the city of Astana. On railway tracks and unloading fronts owned by Astana Railways, wagons are served at the request of the consignee/consignor. If the owner of the railway track and the unloading front is another legal entity, the supply of a wagon to this track is made upon an application agreed with the owner of this track.

In order to exercise transportations and coordinate car supply / removal operations, the company has its own dispatching department, interacting with the dispatching departments of Astana and Sorokovaya stations. Uninterrupted work for car supply/removal to the railway owners’ approach lines is carried out 24 hours a day. Technical condition of used locomotives is monitored on the continuous basis.
